Terms of Service

Welcome to imagelab (“the Service”), a creative tool operated by Robot Friends (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Questions? Email info@robobffs.com.

The Service

imagelab lets you generate, edit, and organize AI-created images. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and the Service is provided on an “as is” basis.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use imagelab. Keep your sign-in secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use imagelab to:

• Create content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have the rights to.
• Generate sexual content involving minors, or other content prohibited by OpenAI’s usage policies (image requests are processed by OpenAI).
• Harass, deceive, impersonate, or harm others.
• Abuse, circumvent, or overload the Service — including the free daily limit — or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways.

Your content and generated images

You keep the rights to the prompts and images you provide, and you’re responsible for them. As between you and Robot Friends, images you generate are yours to use, subject to OpenAI’s terms and applicable law. You grant us permission to store and display your content as needed to run the Service; images only appear in the public Showcase if you choose to publish them.

Free tier and your own API key

imagelab includes a free daily generation limit on a shared key. You can add your own OpenAI API key to remove that limit; in that case requests are billed to your own OpenAI account, and you are responsible for those charges. We are not responsible for costs incurred on your own key.

Disclaimers

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for a given purpose. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Robot Friends will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You can stop using imagelab at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or to protect the Service or its users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified by Robot Friends], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
