Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
imagelab (“the Service”) is a creative tool operated by Robot Friends (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email info@robobffs.com.
What we collect
- Account info (via Google Sign-In). When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and your Google account identifier. We request only basic profile and email — nothing else from your Google account.
- Content you create. The prompts you write, photos or reference images you upload, the images you generate, and any project names, templates, votes, or profile details (display name, title, bio, avatar) you add.
- Usage & technical data. Generation details (style, size, quality, cost, timestamps), a log of key actions for security and abuse-prevention, and cookies used to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as light/dark theme).
- Your own API key (optional). If you add your own OpenAI API key, it is stored encrypted and used only to make image requests on your behalf.
How we use it
- To provide the Service — sign you in, generate and store your images, and run your projects.
- To enforce the free daily limit and prevent abuse of the shared generation key.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To contact you about your account or important changes.
We do not sell your personal data.
Service providers we share with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run imagelab. Your data is shared only as needed for them to perform their function:
- Google — sign-in / authentication.
- Supabase — authentication, database, and image storage.
- OpenAI — image generation. Your prompts and any photos you upload for an edit are sent to OpenAI to produce your results, and are handled under OpenAI’s policies.
- Vercel — application hosting.
A note on AI generation
Because prompts and uploaded images are sent to OpenAI to create your results, please do not upload images you don’t have the rights to use, or anything confidential or sensitive.
Data retention
We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete individual generations at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email info@robobffs.com and we’ll take care of it.
Your choices
- View and edit your profile, and manage your own API key, in your account settings.
- Delete generations you’ve made.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and functional cookies to remember preferences like your theme. We don’t use them for third-party advertising.
Children
imagelab isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
